    Best ATV Sprayer?

Looking for something for 1-2 acre food plots. I think around 25 gallon should cover it? Needs to fit on the back of a Honda foreman.

I don't mind paying more if it reduces the chance of lost work days and headaches.

Got mine at Northern Tool and have been pleased with it. I think it is 26 gallon and doesn’t have the boom. It has a hook up for a spray gun and a middle sprayer that has a fan nozzle.

I use it all the time for the same area you are looking at.

I did crack one fitting and ended up having to buy a new sprayer module as I couldn’t het just the fitting which was costly.

Northern is where I’ve bought the last couple. Make sure and protect from freezing. It’s expensive if you don’t.

I just bought a 50 gallon with two boomless nozzles from Wylie, it was expensive but built
Much better than what you buy at the big box stores.

I have a tsc sprayer with a boom or boomless attachment. It's at least 50g... maybe 60.

This year I went to Wiley and bought theirs. It has the better tank, brass fittings, etc. It's more expensive but it built a lot better.

The big stores will have plastic fittings and the tanks will crack quick if it's in the sun too much.

If you could set the sprayer up on a tailer and pull it with the atv you could go to a 50g or 60g, plus carry chemical or tools or what ever else with you.

A 25 gal sprayer will be perfect for a Foreman and food plots.

For years I sprayed a 10 acre corn field. I had to bring a water tank to do it all.

Checkout these guys… https://www.enduraplas.com/. Their utv sprayer is insane.

I picked up a 25g fimco boomless atv sprayer from tractor supply last weekend and sprayed 3acres of food plots and 3miles of trails.

I really liked the boomless version. The side nozzles can be angled out to cover a 36’ wide path which made quick work of the food plots…. Then angle them down to cover the trails.
All without the long boom hanging out the sides.

Not thrilled with the plastic quick connectors, but overall it worked well for its first time out.

                .

If your looking to save money, Buy a cheap 20-25 gallon spot sprayer and convert to a boom sprayer for about $25 dollars or less from Amazon parts. The one I built has a 16 foot spray width.

I have this one as well. The middle sprayer is actually two nozzles, one sprays left, the other one right. Does a great job, will cover 30-40 ft., depending on adjustment. Just make sure you keep the screen filter clean, every time you fill it. Ask me why.
The 26 gallons will make the ATV squat, mine is on a Kawasaki Prairie but it does fine.

Northern Tool is the way to go, look for it on sale with a coupon if you can. I have a bug 15 gallon that I got years ago from an agriculture store and I would much rather use the Northern Tool model even though it's only 8 gallons. Very strong pump and comes with the power cable, alligator clips and on/off switch, nothing extra to bug, just some assembly.
