    Travel to/from Jamaica

My wife and I enjoy going to Jamaica but have put off a vacation for a few years with covid. Anyone been recently that can comment on how easy it is to go to and from Jamaica from the US? I assume we don't need any covid testing leaving or returning or vaccines either?

    Thanks.

We just went for a week at the beginning of August. No testing or vaccine requirements to or from!

Wife and I were there during a cruise back in July. We had testing requirements because of the cruise line only. There was mention of having to wear masks at the cruise ship port of entry, but nothing was ever enforced. I never saw anyone with a mask on the entire time (even Port employees) and no one asked us about being tested.

We didn’t need any vaccines or tests back in July.

I've heard from friends and colleagues who have been to Jamaica, and they've mentioned that it's been relatively easy to go to and from the US. Besides, as of now, testing and vaccines may not be mandatory for entry or return, but it's wise to stay informed as regulations can change. As you plan your Jamaican getaway, don't forget to explore some of the incredible places in Jamaica to visit. Whether you're into relaxing on the pristine beaches of Negril, exploring the vibrant culture of Kingston, or hiking through the lush rainforests of Portland, there's something for everyone to enjoy. And if you're a fan of adventure, don't miss out on the opportunity to climb the famous Dunn's River Falls or explore the historic sites of Montego Bay.
