Sandhill crane hunts ?

Anyone go Sandhill crane hunting yearly , sure would like to give it a try . Who , where , when to go ? If someone wants to put a group together let's go !

I just ordered my permit from TP&W yesterday. I never know when I'm going to run cross them when duck-n.

I'm looking at going this year as well. Finding the panhandle seems to have the most outfitters. I'm looking for a combo Crane/Goose hunt. Hoping to find something pretty quick and get booked.

Go to Lubbock/north. 50% shot at best on the best days chances anywhere south or on the prairie these days/last many years.

Had a great hunt with this dude an hour north of Lubbock a couple of seasons ago. Zeroed on the geese in the afternoon but smoked the cranes on morning hunts. 3 bird limit up north too.

Cant beat Dane. Dane has a guy he partnered with for cranes, the guy lives for cranes. Insane crane hunting!!

I have an awesome TBH hunt with West Texas Safaris in the Brownfield area. It is opening weekend so hopefully we have some cranes coming in.
