Nice golf in the Village as well. Little known fact, my dad participated in a lot of the electric install in the village as an employee and later supervisor with AP&L/Entergy.

The Village hunts seem pretty cool. A couple guys at work got in on it a few years ago and did good, to include a pretty decent buck.

Also had a couple funny stories about the local antis stirring the pot

Is it still required to go for a shooting test before a permit is issued?

You do have to go through an orientation day which includes shooting three arrows inside the kill zone at 20 yards. It’s true about the anti I lost a lock-in stand last year.

Saw the same future targets. I’ll hunt in the morning then head back to Texas. We plan on coming back in November for a couple of weeks.
