    Fuyu persimmons

I bought two trees approximately a month ago and am still in the process of preparing a spot for them. I’m actually removing holy trees now.
Anyway, my question is this: why are my leaves curling inward and what can I do about it. Would like to hear from someone actually growing them.

I have one in my neighbors yard that is starting to drop fruit now. Worse stepping on them than dogpoo. No help on the leaves, except download the "Picture this" app. It gives causes when you take a picture of the leaf.

Thanks man. The Fuyu fruit is supposedly the best persimmon to eat because it is non astringent.

I can only imagine the stress on these trees at this time of year if they are living in buckets.....

They are. Working as fast as I can to get these holly trees dug out and cut up. They were in the same buckets at Lowes for who knows how long

I have a Hachiya persimmon and it's that time of year. Leaves will curl on a hot dry day and open back up at night. Also they will start to darken and curl this time of year as the days get shorter. Just keep it watered and it will be OK. Soon as the first cold snap hits they leaves will turn red and fall off.

In the spring you can pick some young tender leaves and make a delicious tea. Naturally sweet like green tea. try it

Trees may be root bound by now. Follow the transplanting guidelines and loosen the roots to get them pointed in the right directions. I use those fruit tree fertilizer spikes around mine. Slow time release that will feed the tree for a whole year.
