    Removing scuffs from leather boots.

Is there any way to remove scratches and scuffs from leather boots? I don't own boot polish or anything so I'm open to suggestions. Never have worried too much about it but I had to pick up stacks of tin today and my boots got pretty boogered up. I seem to tear footwear up pretty fast and I'd like to keep these looking nice for as long as possible. They ain't too bad right now but I don't want them getting terrible looking either.

I already tore up a pair of Tony Lamas. They're scuffed all to heck and back. I've pretty much decided those are done for. That's what I should have been wearing today.

I have saddle soap. Don't know if that'll do any good but it may.

You can try this. But a scuff is a scar so you can only do so much.

Interesting. I'll have to try that. Probably this weekend when I ain't wearing them. I knew better than to put on those boots before doing that. Left a few scratches in the leather but I think it's fixable. Or at least I can make it less noticeable.

I use mink oil, especially for my brown leather products. It is amazing how good they look after sitting overnight.

I've seen it but never have got any. I'll keep that in mind. Most of my boots don't look very nice it wouldn't hurt to try it.

An actual banana peel? How does that work? Just rub it on the boots?

A few coats of Bick 4. The scuff will still be there but less noticable.
