    Roundup Users? What gives?

I've used Roundup on weeks for years. Over the past two years I've noticed that the stuff just doesn't work like it used to. I used to be able to spray it and weeds would be dead in 3 days. Now it just doesn't seem to work like that anymore. I thoroughly saturated a lot of Zoysia grass and weeds one week ago today. This morning, one week later, at best, the vegetation simply seems to be turning slightly yellow. I'm wondering if their legal troubles in California forced them to change the formula? What other reason could there be? The concentrate is so expensive already that i hate to double my usage to achieve the same result as I used to get. What about alternatives? Any other products out there that work better?

Roundup has always been slow to kill unless you use ultra. I have time to wait.

I use the concentrate and just mix it up and spray it. I sprayed my fences this past week and got rain about 30 minutes after. Mowing yesterday, everything was dead.

I dont care how long it takes as long as it dies.

I prefer the slow kill as it seems to kill the roots better. When the plant turns brown instantly it seems to come back sooner

Im beginning to have the same concerns about msm60.

Use to kill Bahia dead.... Now we are having issues killing it dead. It will brown up then come back up green. Having to mix it stronger is only thing i have figured out.

If these grasses/weeds aren't actively growing herbicides don't work as fast or as well.

Yep. Weeds need to be actively growing for best results. Also, plants do develop a resistance to glyphosate over time. If you’ve ever spayed it and didn’t get a complete kill, resistance development has begun.

Plants that are drought stressed are slow to uptake herbicides.
