    Adding a loader to tractor

I have an old John Deere 300b diesel tractor that I use for food plots and mowing. A guy down the road has a front end loader that he is selling. I understand how to attach the loader but I don’t know how to connect the hydraulics. On my tractor I don’t have anywhere to connect it that I can tell. Would I have to tap into one of the hydraulic lines to create a place to connect to?

Long hoses connected to your remotes.

Sounds undoable to me then. You need hydraulics and controls.

Some models of Deere tractors can be equipped with power beyond modules to allow you to run remote hydraulics. Not sure if that’s possible on a 300b. I’d suggest finding a Deere dealer and talk to the boys in the shop.

You need the control valve, lever kit and hoses off his tractor. Maybe a sub frame kit also depending on how it is setup

The 300B is an industrial rated tractor (1974-1983) that came with a front end loader and possibly backhoe. There must be someway they tapped into the hydraulics to get them to function.

Post your question on Yesterdaystractor.com. Lots of good knowledge on there for older tractors.

Add "tree's" at the pump...assuming you have mower lift arms. Then plumb up from that point to the loader levers....you need

I got on yesterday’s tractors and they helped me figure it out. Now I just need to find the mounts that will fit my tractor which seems to be impossible

Might want to check with Westendorf, a company that sold one for my Kubota because i could not find one and they were no longer made by Kubota. Not sure if they have what you need but worth a check.

Dont buy anything until you look through FB marketplace and Craigslist hard. Alot of times you can buy a old tractor like yours cheap sitting up and have everything you need. They are alot of those old tractors around.
