    Fishing charter in Charleston SC

I'll be in Charleston at the end of September and I'll have a free Saturday 9/24. Anyone here have a recommendation for a fishing guide?

I was in Charleston about 4 years ago, and used this guy for an inshore trip.

Super nice guy! He was punctual, and had good clean equipment. It was a slow day fishing, but it wasn't a result of him not trying to put me on the fish. He worked his tail off, but that is why they call it fishing and not catching.

Inshore fishing charters for all experience levels. Light tackle and fly fishing charters convenient to Charleston, Mount Pleasant and Isle of Palms.

No help on a fishing guide, but Charleston is one of my favorite cities.

I don’t know about fishing, but 167 Sushi Bar and/or 167 Oyster Bar has some of the finest seafood, if you’re into that kind of thing. The sushi bar has to be the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had. You’ll want to make reservations for the sushi joint if there’s something going on in town. It’s a very small place.

My wife and I used Avid Angling in 2019 , but in December. We booked a half day trip and caught close to 30 redfish and a handful of trout on lures. It's an entirely different type of fishing due to the rapid/extreme tide changes. I highly recommend going when you are in the area.

I was stationed down in Savannah for a good while. Wife and I love the low country and visited Charleston often. Love that area! Miss it a lot.

Ditto!!! We were there last summer and both felt like we could move there "immediately!" I will follow this thread as we are going back soon and a half day of fishing is right up my alley.
