    Hustler Z-turn mower just stopped

I'm running along and the mower just stops, levers do nothing when moved. No oil coming from hydraulic drive units. Neutral levers are in the correct position. Drive belt in place. I think it only has one. Any clues? Any help is appreciated.

Drive belt. I treat mine like a brush hog and may have had this happen a time or two.

Drive belt is still in place. Only one belt on the mower I believe.

This is a great Hustler Owners FB page. I see if I can get any answers since I am a member.

I remember someone having similar problems and it was with a switch or wiring when the controls arms are all the way out for neutral. You might look underneath to see if the arms touch something or disconnect from something when they are all the way out to stop the wheels from turning.

Not one on the ground. Wish it was that simple.

I had a spring break on my exmark that broke and caused the same issue. You could move the levers but the belt wouldn't engage without the tension of the spring.

Really? It runs but doesn't move.

I think there are 2 belts. 1 for mower deck and a drive belt.

I'm trying to get a definitive answer right now. Thanks. A search does not reveal a drive belt.

My hustler did this and the engine pulley came apart. I could do everything but wasn’t getting power to the transmission.
