    Sheridan living?

We are here now. The tent inside the building is keeping things cool and pretty dry (humidity). It is working surprisingly well. Not everything would fit though. Great having a septic system in already. Going to look at pouring a concrete apron on front of the building. We have use of washer, dryer, freezer and two frigs. Freezer and main frig on individual circuits. Electrician fixed the mess I posted about before. I was able to rent a skid steer and clean up the little bit that needed it so I can mow it. Just need to do a little dragging now.

Wife will return to Brazos Co. this week to work. Real estate allows here that liberty.

We continue to look at what comes on the market but also have a plan to build here if that is what God's plan for us is.

      Interesting set up.

I bet that ground tree has seen a few things over the years.
Any clue how it grew sideways- one of them indian creek pointing trees by chance?

Dave, haven't a clue about the tree. Set up is hopefully very temporary. We sold our home in Brazos Co. taking advantage of the RE market and this 1.5 acre was purchased for a second home but for now... Well you can see.

I lived in Sheridan 52 years ago for 2 years as a teen. Passed through there 2 weeks ago for the second time since the water park opened. I was shocked at how that town has been lost in time with no growth at all besides the water park and Dollar Store. Was able to find our old house still standing over around the public pool. I’m sure it’s gonna be a nice place to live.

It will be a home base to come to after rv trips. I'm surprised more business hasn't been spawned by the water park.

It's a nice area. Family has a place a few miles north of you that I hunt on. If you haven't yet try the burger joint across from the waterpark. Them gals know what they're doing

Actually thought about calling to see if you and Monica wanted to have dinner but it was poor planning on our part with very little planning.

                              Sheridan

Killed my 1st deer ever when I was 7-8 sitting under a huge oak about 100 yards or so to the east of the water park. That was Dupre land back years ago. Great friends of my family. Shot many a deer on that place till the water park was built. My dad grew up in Rock Island. Great area.
