My GF's mother and father separated when she was 12. Her mom had a plaque made to remind herself, Love your kids more than you hate each other. GF says to this day she has never heard her mom say anything bad about her dad other than that she just couldn't live with him. I hope your grandson gets to continue being part of your life. And that you and your son can remain part of his.
