I used a website in the past to look at historical wind directions. But I cannot remember what it is.

What sites do you use to look at dominant winds for setting new stands?

good question, following, I use Iweather to check rainfall amounts for past 72 and it has current patterns.

Go to Weather Underground for the area you want, and select the History tab.

Once the page loads choose monthly, and scroll to the bottom of page; Daily Observations section

2nd this one. NOAA usually has the most comprehensive information in general, so you can compare temps relative to the wind direction and speed (IE when a cold front is moving in)
