    Shout Out For Twist

So a few weeks ago Twist started a “Dinner is Served” thread. He had cooked a Tri Tip and it looked amazing and I’m sure it tasted as good as it looked. With just a little dialogue that we shared on that thread about me not being able to find that cut of meat at my stores, he took it upon himself to solve my problem.

Frank and his wife Sheila showed up today at the restaurant and he brought me one. Now let me say that until today I have not had the pleasure of meeting this man and his lovely wife. They live in Brazoria County which is at least 100 miles from me. On the trip back from seeing their daughter at College Station they came out of their way to drop that meat off and get something to eat.

I knew that I liked Frank immediately when he proved to be as hard headed as myself by not allowing me to pay for the Tri Tip nor allow me to comp their meal. But I did get some First Cut PorkChops out for them to take home and try and I’m sure he’ll knock those out of the park.

It amazes me how many really good genuine folks I’ve met since becoming a member of TBH. Good people find joy in doing for others without expecting anything in return. I hope that others will get the opportunity to meet these nice people some day.

Thanks again to Frank and Sheila Sheridan

It was our pleasure Terry, and the food was fantastic!

Great meeting you today and thanks for those pork chops. I have 0 doubt they’ll be a hit when we grill ‘em up.

His thread cost me some dollars. I went and bought 2 (since I couldn't figure out which method). I'll cook another

      Thanks Twist

He is a good one for sure, met him on a couple occasions and actually live right down the road from him. No surprise to me he would do that.

Actually, that was from an Express, one which you did every bit of half of the driving involved in fact.

We met up at the old abandoned gas station in Robbins at 7 and 39 and I brought a firearm back to I believe ARman in Katy. I believe it was a TC but couldn’t say for sure as it was boxed up pretty good.

Same here! And even through those brief messages, I can tell he’s a solid guy for sure!

Just a follow up here, but good night of living.

Terry, thanks a bunch for those pork chops. We grilled them up this evening, and I’m hurtin’ for certain.

They’re outstanding, one of the best pork chops I’ve ever had.

Those look great Frank. Glad you enjoyed them. Get your local butcher to cut you some. For those that don’t know they are “First Cut Pork Chops” which is the first 3 chops of each rack. They are super tender if not over cooked.
