Anyone try swapping out the B&O sub with a new one? I am wanting to get a little more bass out of audio system, but not wanting to have to run new power wires ect. I dont know anything about anything technical about this stuff, just want a little more punch.

Check the vehicle at Crutchfield’s website.
There’s a chance they’ll have something that’s either a direct replacement, or something with adapters and mounting hardware to make it work with minimal extra effort. -

You could always keep your factory amp and use the input wires to your stock sub to send a signal to a small amp just for the new sub. You will need custom box and power wires. You got a car toys near you?? I was very surprised when I had them do some work for me recently. There prices are VERY fair.

I am interested as well. But like others said you need a bigger amp to push the speaker. I am looking at swapping the AMP out for a larger on to see if I can push it... push it real good.. (sorry could not help my self there)Comment

I haven’t tried it on my 2021 model yet, but I heard you can remove the factory sub from the enclosure and stuff the box with poly fill and it will help a little.Comment
