    2020 F250 Subwoofer

Anyone try swapping out the B&O sub with a new one? I am wanting to get a little more bass out of audio system, but not wanting to have to run new power wires ect. I dont know anything about anything technical about this stuff, just want a little more punch.

Check the vehicle at Crutchfield’s website.

There’s a chance they’ll have something that’s either a direct replacement, or something with adapters and mounting hardware to make it work with minimal extra effort.

You will probably need to change the stock amp out at least! You won’t get more bass by simply changing out the speaker. Bass is a power game. I’m willing to bet the factory amp won’t let you adjust the gain to the current sub. You could always keep your factory amp and use the input wires to your stock sub to send a signal to a small amp just for the new sub. You will need custom box and power wires. You got a car toys near you?? I was very surprised when I had them do some work for me recently. There prices are VERY fair.

I had briefly done some looking around and it seemed the stock system is sensitive to changes. But I didn’t get real deep.

in to see what you come up with

I'm thinking you won't gain much without killing a bunch of space for a sub box but I'm in to watch

I am interested as well. But like others said you need a bigger amp to push the speaker. I am looking at swapping the AMP out for a larger on to see if I can push it... push it real good.. (sorry could not help my self there)

I haven’t tried it on my 2021 model yet, but I heard you can remove the factory sub from the enclosure and stuff the box with poly fill and it will help a little.
