Taken during duck season, not over bait.

The one on the right is on the wall. They make outstanding mounts.

Lmao.. They're def not invasive to the US. If your GW gives you the green light to shoot them when it isnt duck season, he doesnt need to be a GW anymore... They'll more than likely migrate to Mexico or South America before deer season opens.

How do these things taste. Looking them up online people claim they are great, but most of those reviews are from cajuns....so??

I’ve got about 50 of them all the time !
They won’t touch corn for some reason, they eat my food plot grass though.

Good to eat. Considering they mostly eat grain

Them and teal are my two favorite ducks to eat. They’re good. Wish I could kill more of them during season. They tend to get scarce when it opens at the places I’ve hunted.

The problem is, by the time it's legal to harvest them, they have already begun to migrate south for winter.

Is it possible those are Egyptian geese?

I've shot 2 over the years. We had a dairy right across the road from our lease. Dog refused to retrieve and I couldn't figure out why until she finally decided the shock collar was worse than grabbing the bird. She brought me one and it smelt just like cow manure. Didn't eat those and ain't shot one since.
