Leather guys question

So I have a 20X cowboy hat that’s old and broken in (like myself). The hat band that was the original deteriorated into pieces.
I’m looking for a thin plain piece of black leather (possibly a remanent) that compliments the old hat. Any help or ideas would be great. Thanks

Thanks for checking man. I measured the circumference where the band goes and it’s 24”.
I’m not picky so anywhere from
3/8 to 1/2 to 3/4 wide. It doesn’t matter if you have a scrap piece that’ll fit. Thank you

I found a Tandy and went by there. They didn’t have any scraps, everything was multi part kits. Thanks tho.

Understand completely but they will change only the band if you want. It was just a thought.
