    Is there no way to get power closer and then go underground? If you can make it work and live with the way it looks, I'd consider it.

      Unfortunately, no. The way the property is set up, we'd prefer it all be underground.

        Going to meet with electric company tomorrow to discuss some options.

        Got water line trenched today. Right at 420 feet.

            Likely to see lots of those little guys out there. Be careful of anything laying on the ground very long. They like to get under stuff.

                  Correct. The vertical 6x6 post are put in, with 2x6s ran as bottom runners, at grade. Concrete ran up to top of the 2x6s. Slab ends up being about 5.5".
