Anyone know of a legit energy audit in DFW preferably south DFW? We had one done in San Antonio several years ago. They came through and looked at all the attic insulation, took infrared readings of temps throughout the house, vacuum test to check leaks, ductwork, AC sizing, windows and doors, identified each appliance that could be updated based on energy use. It was a really good audit.
I had Navarro Electric Coop do one at current house and all they did was pretty much locate breakers and tell me what each one fed. Pretty much pointless.
I want to know where the best bang for my buck is to help with energy efficiency based on what is in my house. $500+ utility bill has got to be reduced and I just want to know what I can realistically to do to cut it back down.
