    Daily Bible Portion (Monday)

    Daily Bible Portion - 2 of 7
    "REWARD"

    (Weekly Reading>>Deuteronomy 7:12-11:25, Isaiah 49:14-51:3, Hebrews 12:1-29, Luke 4:1-13)

In the Gospel is found how to ingather and restore believers who had fallen away from Yahweh's direction, provision and purpose back to Him. Following His Gospel raises the dead back to life, restores sickness and disease, heals the brokenhearted, blind, oppressed and deaf by releasing them from their self-imprisoned lifestyles. The Gospel allows Yahweh to maximize their lives and keeps the enemy at a distance and out of the Promised Land. If we follow and obey His Gospel, “Yahweh will deflect illness. He will not inflict on [us] the horrible diseases [we] knew in Egypt, but He will inflict them on all who hate [the Gospel]” (Deuteronomy 7:15).

Romans 10:15-17 “And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!’ But they have not all obeyed the Gospel. For Isaiah says, ‘Lord, who has believed our report [Your Gospel]?’” (Isaiah 52:7).

Yeshua/Jesus is the embodiment of the Gospel. The Gospel is the power of salvation for believers and the righteousness of Yahweh revealed. Sadly, after the temple was destroyed and by the time the King James Version of the Bible was made available, the Mosaic Covenant/Gospel was no longer considered Yahweh’s sole teaching authority in synagogues or churches. As a result Yeshua’s Bride lost her identity and her authority. We need to pray for a revival among Yahweh’s people to passionately desire to fulfill their Marriage Covenant with Yeshua their Bridegroom in the holiness and righteousness of the Gospel (Luke 4:176-19; Isaiah 61:1-2; Matthew 4:23; Matthew 5:3-16; Matthew 9:35; Matthew 11:4-6; 1 Peter 2:8; 1 Chronicles 16:7-36).

    Torah’s Covering

If the enemy were on the doorstep or if we have any number of dis-eases, Scripture teaches us that we may have innocently been enticed to walk out from under the covering of God’s blueprint/order/principles for our lives. Misfortune can be granted access through wrong associations, dwelling in or entering buildings that are unclean, or by wearing incorrect clothing.

Matthew 24:13 "But the one who endures to the end will be saved."

The word "endures" is a compound word meaning stay under the chuppa/covering. This verse literally reads "But the one who remains faithful to the marriage covenant until the goal, purpose, result will be delivered to the Kingdom."

Note: Conversely the Greek word for "hypocrite" means "actor under". That is one who acts or pretends to be under the covenant but does not obey God's word.

John 14:2 "In my Father's house[kingdom] are many mansions[staying]: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."

Messiah is speaking to us His "bride". In a Hebrew wedding after the betrothal or vows are taken the soon to be Groom returns to his fathers house to prepare a bridal chamber for his bride. As we have been purchased for a price by Messiah [by His Blood] He has gone to His Father's house to prepare a special place for His bride. This is why it is extremely important not to adultery yourself while Messiah "the prophet likened unto Moses" delays to return just like what happened to the Israelites in the wilderness at Mt. Sinai.

Luke 13:34-35 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem who kills the prophets and stones those sent to her! How often I longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing. Look, your house is left to you desolate! For I tell you, you will never see Me until you say, ‘Baruch ha-ba b’shem Adonai. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’”

We are instructed to daily take inventory of our relationship with Yeshua and to take every thought captive by examining its source – is it from God, from ourselves, or from Satan’s kingdom? When we discern an ungodly thought, we must not let time pass but quickly reject it and not allow it to settle in our minds or it will become one with us in our long term memory. We must ask ourselves “Does our conduct match our confession?” If it does not, we have missed the mark (called sin) and are out of order with Yahweh. This can cause us to miss out on His promised blessings. The words of Moses are as relevant for us today as they were in the days of the first Children of Israel. This is why Moses and his writings are shared at length in the New Testament. Yahweh’s instruction (Gospel) is listed in the Five Books of Moses and are confirmed, quoted and honored in the New Testament. These two witnesses help us move toward a walk of purity and holiness so that we may proclaim the Greater Torah, which is Yeshua in the fullness of His identity found in the pages of Genesis through to Revelation.

Isaiah 52:7 “How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news [the Gospel], Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!’”

Mark 16:15-20 “And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. He who believes [obeys] and is baptized will be saved[delivered to the land/kingdom]; but he who does not believe [obey] will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe [obey the Gospel]: In My name[authority] they will cast out demons[false teachings]; they will speak with new tongues[languages]; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly[cup of trembling], it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick[unclean], and they will recover[become clean].’ So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached [the Gospel] everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.”

When we said, “We will hear and we will obey,” we surrendered our lives to Yahweh and accepted Yeshua/Jesus as King over us. We submitted to Him, desiring to come under His Kingly ruling and care in His Covenant (Abrahamic) promises. In doing this we gave up our preferences, self-will and the old sinful ways (of Satan’s law of sin and death) to enter into His Kingdom – the Law of Life - to union with His Son Yeshua.

While many people say they want to pursue purity in their lives, a walk of holiness can seem daunting, distant or even bewildering if the proper order and instruction of Moses are missing. Many do not realize that the words he spoke at Mount Sinai are to repair any breach between the believer and Yahweh. This enables mankind to pursue holiness and enter into the calling - the priesthood in the Davidic Covenant. It is only holiness that forms the order of Melchizedek (a king and a priest) in the Davidic Covenant. If believers still have known or are tolerating sinful issues in their lives, they may try to pursue holiness but may be left wondering why it evades them.

What Moses taught also personified the holiness of Yeshua’s teaching in the New Testament, as it is only the order Melchizedek (Davidic Covenant) that raises the dry bones and gives resurrection life to a lifeless, fruitless body and spirit. Again, the Israel connection is inexorable, as both Ezekiel’s prophecy of a valley of dry bones coming to life becoming a vast army and the latter day Melchizedek priesthood are promised to a single people: the nation of Israel - consisting of all twelve tribes and those who have joined themselves to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Understanding our identity as part of Israel and part of Yahweh’s priesthood moves us forward in certainty to defeat any giants that stand in opposition to God’s plans for our lives (Ezekiel 37).
