Been in Kansas for 5 days now trying to find them. Locals all say worse it’s been in their lifetime. Say they have had the worse drought in 100yrs. I have to believe it seeing what we have seen. We still have a good time trying.

Finally got to take my 5yr old on his first duck hunt. We hit the local public grounds in the kayak and it was a great hunt. We shot our 3 limits of mixed birds. We had to hold off for some quality birds to pile in later in the morning. Bluebills were thick as they come all morning long in the decoys.

My brother and I were in and out quick this morning.

DU TV is here filming with 4 lady's. They had an awesome hunt, too. Lightning wasn't good but it worked out.

Congrats to all the recent success! I figured this last cold front would've pushed some birds to us but that wasn't the case. Surely this crazy cold Christmas weekend will bring some down, if all the tanks freeze up I plan on giving the river a go!
