I just got my 2004 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 from the shop. I haven't riden it since 2017 and I didn't realize how much I missed this beast until I got on her minutes ago. The pipes on her sound awesome and still set off car alarms as I cruise by. She doesn't just sound great, she has some hussle in her with a Screaming Eagle carb package. I do have some work to do cleaning her up but that is a big part of the joy. She is slim, easy handling and quick.

For some, riding becomes a part of your soul.
I learned to ride my dad’s motorcycle when I was 12. Dad gave it to me when I was 14. It was a street bike but I turned it into a dirt bike. Got my license when I was 15 and have had it since. I’ve ridden most of my life but I did go about ten years, one time, without a motorcycle but every spring I’d get the fever so bad that finally I just couldn’t stand it and had to get another one. It definitely can get ahold of you.
Enjoy the ride and keep the dirty side down.
