Oral Metformin really did a number on my GI system. So far, injectable Ozempic has been fine.

Resurrecting this thread to ask if anyone on Ozempic, or any other medication in this drug class, has experienced a sharp increase in triglycerides?

My Doc hasn’t noted this.

What is farting me off, is all the divas and tik tok folks non-diabetic using it as a weight loss measure, creating a shortage for people who need it.

We were out for 6-7 weeks acause our pharmacy was unable to get it. My Doc bumped me up on dosage with no side affect.

I saw a commercial on TV about two nights ago that Weight Watchers is now offering these SLG-agonists as a part of their weight loss programs. Frankly, I’ve been wondering why more doctors aren’t prescribing it for this. Or taking it themselves.
