    Power pole install cost??

I'm thinking about getting electricity installed at my lease for a small cabin that is already on location, its not gonna be a far run from the neighbors power lines. I'm thinking maybe 1 maybe 2 poles

Anyone know the cost the electric provider charges of getting that done?(give or take cost) I know I will have to run my own breaker box and everything else just need main power

also if i decide to leave and not use the power any more how dose that process work with disconnect so i will not get charged Side note this is not my land, my wife uncle has been the care taker of the land(not his either) and now he doesn't do much with it so its kind of just me now

    what yall say?

Gonna need a signed easement from the owners of the property your leasing giving consent to your plan. I'd start there. Seems like everyone's baseline is 10k for anything now a days...

It’s usually by the foot I believe. Some companies will do so many ft and then after that they charge you if it’s over that. Not sure of price.

A buddy of mine had to run power about 5 years ago. Then it was about $10k per pole.

Keep in mind you can make all those costly improvements to someone else’s land and get the boot the very next day. Id look into a small solar array. At least you can take it with you.

I'd almost bet every provider will have a different price. I would call your provider.

I had a fairly short run that cost $8000. But it depends on what company your are with. Some charge a hellofalot more than others.

Might be cheaper to mount a panel at the furthest distance they will run it for free, then rent a trencher and go underground yourself. Just a thought.

Think they will go a pretty good ways for free/cheap if it's your primary residence because they figure they'll get their money out of you.

For what you're after, I bet they'll want an arm and a leg.
