What kind of LEO? I like to picture him as a nice, gently country boy. Maybe packing a few extra pounds. Sig 9mm, but M4 carbine within reach. Can recite some poetry, write some short stories, but also make sausage and sharpen a knife. He probably has friends and neighbors that don't even realize he's LEO because that's his job for 8-10 hours a day, not his sole identity. He'll come help the neighbor lady start her lawnmower. Probably mow the lawn for her if she's over 55. He can cook a decent brisket, but ain't never gotta worry about winning 1st at HLSR Cookoff. He can drink cheap beer but appreciates an expensive bourbon from time to time. He ain't perfect, but when the shots ring out, he's moving towards them, not away.
