Need help with 2005 Excursion (or maybe an F-250)

This is the driver's side door. See that square hole in the lower left? I need to fill it. Can anyone post a pic of what should be there? I THINK it's for the seat memory switch but not real sure. Thanks!

If you're inclined, check the dealer. Probably a little matching color plastic tab that snaps into that hole. Or duck tape

Is there a bolt under where the tab goes ?

It is the seat memory. Position 1 for main driver. Position 2 for another driver such as spouse, etc.

That’s what I thought. But the only switches I have found so far online don’t look like they will fit that hole.

Not all of them come with that option. Is there a wired plug down in there.

Most likely that switch was only made by Ford, probably long been out of production. That's one of those things, that Ford won't order many extras of, so once they run out, that's it.

You will probably have to look on ebay or a junk yard for a used one.
