    3D Deer Targets

Hey guys, looking to buy a 3d target and I'm curious what some of the more recent reviews are. Seems like the GlenDel product has degraded from reviews I'm seeing. The cheapo shooter series on amazon gets hammered as of lately. Delta/McKenzie you can't hardly find any info on. And of course there's the Rhinehart which everyone seems to like but their non-competition line doesn't seem to get the best reviews either. Any suggestions out there? Looking to get one for the backyard to practice a few times a week. It'll be put up and left out for the most part unless I put it in the shed.

If anyone is looking to bid farewell to one, let me know.

Bought a Rhinehart mini elk 2 years ago and it has been outside up here since then.
It is looking worse for the wear at this point but still stops arrows. Not falling apart but plenty of holes.
I would somehow build a cover over yours so it is out of the direct sun if possible.

Might watch Camofire for a blem, that is what we bought for much less.

The Big Shot Real Wild 3D targets are legit. I don't know about long term but out the box I prefer them over Rinehart and Delta.

I'll agree to this. I have one Real Wild/Big shot target (big foot) and the quality of the foam is fantastic. The whole target is "good" foam.

I have some rinehardts 1/3 scale targets and their cheap backyard targets, delta Mackenzie, and a glen dell. So far, I think the real wild target is the best of the bunch. My delta Mackenzie mule deer target is really nice too though.

Another Big Shot Real Wild fan here.

I bought the Real Wild Big Buck 3D Target last year to have a Midwestern sized target for my son to practice on before our Kansas trip.

The quality of foam is top notch along with the whole target being foam and not having plastic legs or wooded pegs to worry about. The mid section is also replaceable if you were to need a new one.

I ordered a cheap bar-b-q pit cover off of Amazon to keep it protected from the elements when I’m not practicing.

I have a few of all of them. Just bought my first big shot target. It’s an antelope and only have had a few days but seems like a quality target. Only thing I can see that may be an issue is how big the insert is making the low chest/belly east to shoot out.

That being said it’s hard to beat the Mackenzie’s but I’d get the pro models for longevity (EXPENSIVE)

If it’s gonna get left out in the elements. Rhinehart and get range quality. Delta sucks and always has. McKenzie “backyard” quality targets suck too. Their range quality ain’t what they once were but the core is nice. Still won’t last in the elements long

I bought a delta McKenzie range quality target last year, seriously regret not building a cover over it! It still stops arrows and has a ton of life left in it, but looks awful! Don’t invest in the target if you’re not willing to spend a little on a little cover of some sort

Got around to shooting the big shot a little more. The insert doesn’t go all the way through the target Sony previous thought of cutting it in half isn’t such a concern. I will only shoot the insert side face due to this. Like mentioned, even though a PITA I bring all my 3d’s under my covered awning when done shooting. Once I get my fence up I will leave them out but will cover when not in use.

I have got better results with Glendel, still have one up after 6 years , number two has been up for one year, my Rhinehart, after a year, could not pull out the arrows. My experience.
