I've used one a LONG time ago when I came to Texas ..1994 and it held up good ..
But does anyone use them ?
Getting a 32 Gal Barrel is a Pain ..

Used a couple in high school (10+ years ago). Make sure you brace it up well. For what they cost now, not sure it’s worth it. Could probably find a plastic drum that would fit your needs and have similar durability for a lot cheaper.

Plastic drums don't hold up too well if you have squirrels.

I assume they will chew through the sides? Made a couple once in that same timeframe but never had an issue. Probably got lucky.

I'd look on Craigslist for a drum with a lid. I bought 10 a couple years ago for $20 a piece.

Not worth the trouble. Drums with high quality epoxy paint can be had for $10-$20 and they’ll hold 300lbs of corn.
