    I've had great luck with Interstate batteries. You pay a little more, but I've been able to get a solid 4-5 years out of each, never replacing pre-maturely. Amazon link below:

        if you buy a panel, buy one that comes with a solar charge controller. They will prevent the batteries from being overcharged.

        this is what i put on my homemade solar setup for my trail camera. I have had 0 issues since doing this

          We used to run 27 feeders and 25 protein feeders. Used to keep the backup inventory of batteries, solar panels, control units, etc.

          Finally said forget that and called Del Rio Feed. They took over of everything, including filling the feeders.

          Sometimes easier to just ‘call the guy’.
