You clearly misunderstood the context behind what I said. So is what I said the dumbest thing you've read lately or is what you typed before thinking one of the dumbest things you've typed lately? I'm gonna go with that.....

If I had to pick one out of two different types of people to have on my side in a fight for my life I'd choose the bad guy. He fought until his time on earth was up. The security guard tucked tail and ran.
The guard did tuck tail but did stop his run to drag that lady out of the way before proceeding. Also, before tucking tail, he may have saved every life in the bank.

I understand what you are saying about the staying in it to win it.

okrattler, you might as well get a fresh cup of coffee and sit back and relax. You're going to be defending yourself all day. It's still America where everyone is free to have their own opinion.

I may not agree with everything you said but will fight to the death for your right to say it.

He didn't attempt to rob the bank, he ambushed the guard and you think that is great the way he kept shooting at an innocent person. You need help man. Put away your keyboard before you post something even more stupid than you already have, if that is possible.

So, are you saying that it would be ok if he had killed the guard, that way he would have went out even?

You ain’t got no quit in ya either. Since I’ve been around anyways, I see where you can relate.

Put some respect on the officers name though. He stood toe to toe and landed a lethal blow in an almost impossible to win situation. And he probably had a family he wants to see again

Robber had every advantage on his side and still got his *** whooped. Probably kept shooting because he was too stupid to know he was already dead.

A little off topic but for some reason I’m thinking of the suicide bombers and pilots that flew into the World Trade Center and killed 3000 people. I admire their courage and and they fought to the bitter end even after their death warrant was signed. If I was in a fight I would want these patriots on my side. I’m out.

Looks like the guard just got hit in the arm and should be fine!

I have watched this several times. I am amazed at how quickly the guard could get a shot off. The perp had the drop on him and really had him beat. Shows you how important having one in the pipe and ready is so important.

I'm not dissing the officer by no means. He made a heck of a shot out of the gate. I just wish he'd have kept shooting so he wouldn't have gotten shot. Because after all we don't know what happened to him.

This could be used as a learning tool for other officers who haven't fought that fight yet. Yes, the bad guy was dying. But he had it in his mind to fight. And fight he did.

Oh I'm not saying anything bad about the officer. I didn't mean it in that way. I just wish he'd have had the mindset to keep shooting. The decision to try and escape got him shot. And I don't know if that resulted in his death or not. But it certainly could have. I wasn't trying to disrespect him whatsoever. All I'm saying is I think in a gunfight the robber had the mindset that could have easily tied the fight. And I'd rather see the good guys win outright.
