      If you don't seal the entrance hole, they will be back. They will smell the old hive and
      try again. Your best bet is to tear out and replace where the hive was. Good luck!

        Do not attempt this yourself without proper training. You will be hurt !!!
        To each his own, I took out a massive hive/comb in a stud cavity, it was over 5' long and 24" wide with two Bengal Bombs and did not get stung once.

        Great call on the professional, I could not get a professional to even look at mine as they did not do Honey Bees.

        The call to the extension agent and then then "bee keepers" that will come out for free was a joke, how about $400 to take them away and remove the comb.
