    Mighty Cold Towel

I had a bad heat stroke about 4 years ago. Knocked me into the dirt and my work/heat endurance went to about 10 percent of pre heatstroke level.

I found this “towel” in one of the houses I bought (sealed package) about 2 years ago. I finally got around to trying it about 2 months ago. It works as advertised!!

Basically get it wet, wring it out some them snap/shake it a few times. And put it around your neck and tuck it into your shirt.

It stays cool until it dries out (it’s kind of like a dry shammy).

It’s allowed me to do a lot more than I could. It keeps you quite cool. I think it also cools the blood going to your head. I can mow for several hours and I’m really not overly hot or wore out. Real test was we put out 10,000 pounds of protein in bags in Mexico and it was a 112 degrees at the hottest point. We didn’t work fast but we worked about 6 hours. I had to rewet it 2x.

Im going to buy a few more. Apparently they’re not terribly expensive

Just passing it on with the heatwave we’ve had.

I have a few of these in different brands and they work great when at the lease or playing tennis in the summer.

I have a bunch of them (different brands). They are a game changer. We use them while working and at the kids baseball games. Their teams keep ice buckets in the dugouts to chill them off again. Money well spent.

Our girls and coaches (me included) used them during softball tournaments. They are life savers.

I bought something similar and wore it dove hunting one year when it was 100+. Certainly helped but I have no idea where it is now. Might have to get another.

Harbor Freight had a brand of those on sale a while back for $4-5 bucks. They work very well

They are a must for any work in rocksprings summer. I also use them anytime when I'm offshore during the summer.

Yup. I put one over my head, under my hooded fishing shirt. Every 30 min or so just put a bit of water on top of my head. Makes a huge difference.

I have one and it works great, but I think I left it somewhere and need to get another one. Definitely a game changer.
