Took my KOZ boys on a camping trip to New Mexico. We had a great time catching rainbow and brook trout in the river.

We hiked to Williams Lake at over 11000 feet. A few of us climbed to the top of Wheeler peak, the highest point in the state at over 13000 ft.

That’s Williams Lake in the background. I’m extremely proud of how far this young man made it up the mountain! Not only that but he also encouraged another boy who tried to give up to make it to the lake!

Had some great Bible teaching with praise and worship around the campfire.

Took a trip to NRA Whittington Center and explored the museum and the old coal mining town on the ranch. We were going to shoot a round of skeet but the guy working at the range couldn’t get the safe open for us to get the rental shotguns [emoji1787].

Next, we went to Raton pass and had a sandwich at the Colorado state line.

Got home last night, physically exhausted and spiritually refreshed. I love my KOZ boys and seeing the physical and spiritual growth as they become fine young men!
