Question for the experts here....
I have had several sets of weather-tec in my past suburban and trucks. Always fit well but had the common curling and flipping at the corners. I opted to get the chevy OEM floormats in my wives new suburban. I had heard nothing but good things and seen them myself in multiple rigs.
Fast forward, I get burb in May and the mats are backordered. Finally come in about a month later and the fronts fit like a glove. The back (captain seats) fit but minor overlap and fit issues.
- The center strip between the captain seats overlaps the plastic mounting hardware for the seats on both sides. Is this common?
- The back mats are too wide and do not fit well beneath the rear of the middle captains and also overlap the plastic on the outer edges of the floorboard.
- The interlocking pieces tend to not stay in place with the kids stepping on them. I think it is worse due to the fit being too wide and these mats pushing inwards.
Anyone else had a similar experience?
