We always put a cup of bleach in the bathwater. I've since heard that they just bite and move, versus the way I was taught as a kid, that they inbed in your skin. I'm not sure which is true, but they suck (no pun intended) either way.

there is a roll on stick product called afterbite. It works good for us, on chiggers, mosquito bites, other itches

Can of Air Cleaner upside down until you can't stand it.
          Kills poison IV too.
My uncle used to tap a freon bottle.

Anybody ever tried dawn dish soap? Works for fleas and ticks..

Alcohol wipe down helped with the itching.

This is what we used when I was a kid. Works.

Nothing. Just suffer until it stops itching.

Once the welp pops up the chigger is gone. All your doing is trying to sooth the itch. You aren't killing anything. Wipe the area with rubbing alcohol and take a benadryl for the itching.

Very hot bath water with 3 or 4 cups of Epsom salt dissolved in it. Soak for awhile. Best remedy that I've tried.

Like STDs, prevention is way easier than the cure.

Use Repel with permathrin or sawyers or even old school sulfur in a sock before you go in the high grass this time of year.

Scratch infected area until it bleeds. Douse with rubbing alcohol. Feel the burn but the itch will be gone.
