A new level of lazy for me

So I have the biggest blackstone griddle they make and I’ve cooked all sorts of great things on it. Including pounds and pounds of bacon.

But today I didn’t feel like cleaning it up after cooking so I tried bacon on my Traeger. Cut in half. Laid it sideways across the grates and cooked it at 275-300 until it was desired crispness. Came out perfect. And didn’t even have to turn it. Did about 5#’s in two cookings.

Not near as much grease as I was expecting. Probably pretty hard to fry eggs in the grease on the traeger though.

I’m looking for a big used pellet grill for camp now. We have all the other cooking toys, we might as well add this one.

Yup. Bacon on the pellet grill is nice. But easy to overcook if you don't watch it close.

Bacon on any bbq pit is far better than any skillet. Ive never tried it, but I hear cooking it in an oven is also a pretty solid way to go.

Oven or the George Foreman. George Foreman cooks top and bottom at the same time. And, drips into a tray.

I've done the pellet smoker and oven. The oven is easier as the smoker can go from done to brittle quickly. I prefer both over the pan in the house due to the mess and attention required.

I had some pork belly I was going to cure for bacon but decided to smoke on pellet smoker without curing. Turned out great.

That looks great. I always make burnt ends out of them.

Baking sheet, parchment paper and a 350 degree oven is my go to.

I have made PB burnt ends several times as well. These were not nearly as rich and I think I prefer them over the burnt ends.
