    Gas range experts

What would cause a gas range weve had for several years to start taking longer to cook stuff in the oven. im not to familiar with stoves so i thought i would ask the experts. thanks. this is a Kenmore

Put an oven thermometer in there and see how accurate your temp control knob is...is 350 really 350? If not, on most of the older analog ovens you can pull the knob off and there will be a small screw inside the stem that the knob snaps on to...you can adjust this screw left/right to make the dial indication match the actual temperature of the stove...if your oven controller is digital this obviously won't work.
