    Recommended pole barn builders?

I’m back thinking about putting up a pole barn. I’m looking for someone who’ll build in Brazoria County, Tx about 15 miles from the coast. I know Rob-Bilt and Wolf both build down here, but remember there were at least a half dozen builders up in the NE corner of Oklahoma who regularly came this far south. Anyone have any recommendations or good/bad comments on builds down here?

I absolutely will not even entertain the thought of using APB Pole Barns out of Louisianna after they charged a guy I know half up front and then quit taking his calls.

I had Pam Stuckey build mine. Stuckey barn and supply I think is the name of the company. They are right here out of wild peach. I looked at a lot of barns and I think they put more lumber than any others I looked at. A big plus is them being local if you have an issue they are easy to get back out.

Doug Phillips built mine about 5 years ago, but he’s since retired. He’s from OK and was one of the split-offs when Wolf owners split years ago, and so is Rob-Built. I’d stay away from John Construction, too. Have heard some bad stories from people that hired him.
