    Amarillo Sod Poodles

With the fabulous Biden economy booming, we decided to pass on our vacation this year. I'm itching to go somewhere, and loves some baseball, so was thinking about going to Amarillo to catch a couple games. Is it safe to walk from Courtyard Downtown to Hodgetown? I've been to OKC Dodgers and Frisco RR's a dozen or so times, but was also wondering about Arkansas Traveler and/or Tulsa Driller games. Thanks for any advice or tips

We’ve walked it probably 30 times the stadium without any issues. Fun games to watch!

Cleburne Railroaders is a good game also and not as far to drive. Check it out at

Yep it’s safe. We stayed across the street at the Embassy Suites when our son played at Hodgetown Ball Park. Fun times.

The field condition at Hodgetown has improved substantially this season.

Amarillo PD is just several blocks from there so always a police presence in the area. Some good food downtown also. Six Car Pub, OHMS, Napoli's, Braceros. I've never been but they say Chesney's Whiskey Saloon is good.
