    2021 F150 vibration at 70 MPH

i know i know chevy and dodge guys, fords are the worst.

I started feeling a vibration in the front seats and steering column at 70-75. took it to discount tire and had tires balanced and rotated. no dice.

took it to Ford, who kept it for a week, told me they wanted $70 to "road force balance" and claimed it was fixed. Had to pick it up for a trip, where it shook at 70 for hours. couldnt get them to look at driveline or anything else, as they had "fixed it"

17k miles, Pathfinder AT tires put on at 200 miles to replace the little stock ones.

anybody had a similar issue and fix?

My father in law said his 21 would shake at highway speeds till he put the lift on and that fixed it.

Road force balance is just a fancy term for matching the best spot on the tire with the best spot on the wheel. You mark the spot on the tire with the best spot on the wheel. Discount can do this and if you bought your tires from them and have an issue I'm sure if you griped enough they would have checked that for free. Coming from a guy who did that in his younger years.

New set of shoes then the problem showed up or showed up all of a sudden on a set of shoes it has had for a while?

Load balancing is what I had to do with BFG’s back the last set I bought. They were horrible for trying to balance they were so out of round.

I have a 21 with 16k miles, same issue. Mine is most noticeable when at highway speed and you speed up another 5-10mph or going up a hill. I’ve talked to 3 dealers, first said they aren’t taking any service appointments for 3 months, second said they are way backed up with transmission work and won’t take it any time soon. Last one said it would be a few weeks before they could look at it but that the new ten speed “is just build that way”. I found this service bulletin on a F150 Facebook group over the weekend. I’m going to call the dealer in the morning and see if they know anything about it. If I don’t get this resolved soon I'm getting rid of it.

Your wheel bearings are out. My f150 did exact same thing 70-75

I used to be a Ford guy but I just can't buy one again due to issues like this and the death wobble.
