2 Warriors and a Special Dog

What a past 2 days!!
Our WARRIOR Son (staying with us before he reports to his next duty assignment) had one of his buddies visit our home. Steven and Jake served together experiencing what most of us never will after numerous tours in the Lands of Sand as Snipers. Susan and I also now have a new addition to our household. Steven asked us to provide Reef, his Aussie Shepherd, a home where he has room to live a happy life vs a small apartment. A little bitter sweet but it's what Steven wants as he can't spend the time with him and we are so excited to have this great new friend. Going to be some adjustment for us all, but we are thrilled and thankful. Reef is almost 2, smart, trained, perfect for us in our retirement years!! This all happened this morning when he offered Reef to us. Big surprise but what a blessing.

We also just found out from Jake that another fellow soldier took his life this afternoon. Going thru a divorce, still active Army...such a waste...so another part of this story, help if you can, listen and be a friend for those suffering the torment of war....Bless them all!
