    Newest Squaw in the NeoTribe

Here is my daughter Caitlyn and her NeoTribe bow that was made for her birthday. The pictures from her birthday party were lost and we were finally able to get out do a little shooting today. She seems to have the idea as what to do but needs some refinement, but she was loving it, she has already asked if we can shoot some more tomorrow. She is also asking when she gets to take it hunting. The kids in the background are wanting one like hers, the boy has a Lil' Banshee from Academy but wants a NeoTribe of his own, because it is cooler and "better" made. Thanks again Joey.

Thanks everyone, that's my baby. I'm trying to let her kind of figure out her form on her own, but I gave her the basics and what she needs to do. Those pics were taken after about 10 arrows. I need to find a better target (all I have is a compressed foam target) that way all arrows stick in the target to build up the confidence. She was having a blast though.

I just noticed...he said 'Squaw'...that's down right funny!

                Great pics, Chad.

She is a squaw in the truest sense. I am actually 1/4 Cherokee and so she believes she is also, quit trying to explain such these to her, well since she is only 6. Since Saturday when the pics were taken she has been on me everyday for her to shoot the bow. Question to some of the other NeoTribe parents, what kind of target are you guys using for these bows. Mine is a lttle tough for her.

                  Thanks.

S-W-E-E-T!! Great pics! The styrofoam block targets work pretty good, as long as she is not too far back from it.

Keep up the great shootin', Caitlyn!!!

Great looking girl ya got there!

Put some balloons on there for her to pop. Then you'll see that pretty face really light up!

Chad - are you coming to Bowanza? We have a bunch of styrofoam targets of which you can have one or 2. We went to Tractor Supply and got a whole pallet of the foam blocks they use to transport trailers. TSC donated them for a Girl Scouts archery day that we hosted. We glued them together and bought FITA animal paper targets which we glued on the foam. The Girl Scouts loved it.

                            DB,
Unfortuantely I'm not going to be able to make it to Bownanza, but maybe I will go to my local TSC and see if they can part with some of those blocks and I can make my own styrofoam target. Thanks for the offer though. I am going to try and make it next year.

Here is the pic I thought I lost. It is her and I at her party right after she opened the bow.
