I’m 55 years of age and don’t ever remember the month of May ever being close to this past may, 17 or 18 days in triple digits? The heat is definitely getting harder on me, and I work in it all day.

Yep, I remember it freezing for 10 days straight. Easier to put more clothes on and fire up other methods for heat though.

That said, for some reason I’m pretty comfortable at the moment.

Yesterday, when I got home, it was 110 on our deck in the shape. It's warm. This is not the most uncomfortable weather I have experienced in my life.

I remember when I was a kid, that there were a few times and places that it was very hot, just flat miserably hot, then the wind would blow, it was like someone was pointing a monster hair dryer at you. Felt like I was going to get burnt up in no time. Only experienced those hot winds maybe three or four times in my life, but when it happens, it's flat miserable, it's like being in hell or something. Normally when it's hot outside and the wind blows, it feels much better/cooler. Every time I have experienced those hot winds, it was in south Texas.

Had a graveside service for my Mother-in-law this morning at 10am. Dark pants and sports coat were soaked through in the 30 minutes that we were out in it. I was gonna cool off in the pool when we got home, except the water temp is 93deg....when we fire up the hottub we only put it at about 96. I spent most of my 20s and 30s working outside in the heat everyday and it didn't phase me. It must be an age thing, because I hate this **** now.
