I don’t believe you can derate the ground at this Amperage

Derate? #10 is a sufficient ground for a 50a service. But running full size never hurt either.

Looks like it's going to require a permit. The panel is supposed to have a disconnect, Or main breaker to be up to code. I can't pull permits yet. Hopefully someone come on before long that can help you out.

#10 copper is the correct ground for a branch circuit up to 60 amps.
