Good she is OK. 2 years ago my wife tripped on the dishwasher door, fell, and broke her hip. They repaired it with 3 long screws. It took a long time to get over that, and she still walks with a limp.

This may be what happened and she doesn't realize it.

Oh man, I'm sure glad she's OK!! Prayers for you to catch a break now!! Lord does know you need a break... I guess look on the bright side of things... Glad your granddaughter was there and able to be the one to help her grand ma out!! Maybe a special treat for her to encourage her?...

Glad to hear it all turned out ok. Always better to be safe than sorry.
Now you need to start unloading the dishwasher before you go to work.
Those brownie points add up super fast.
Prayers up for some smooth days ahead.

Glad to hear it wasn’t more serious. I’ve heard horror stories of people falling around the dishwasher that’ll make you load every knife point down forever.

I work in downtown Dallas and it takes me 30mins to get home. I wanted the paramedics to check here out in case of injury. I didn't want to try to get her up and make an injury worse if she had one. You can do a lot of damage to someone if you don't know how to do it right.
Sounds like you did the right thing!

We got kind of lucky. Alexis was on the way out the door when she heard my wife fall. She was going to feed the neighbors dog.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone.
