Tactacam Issue

Was working like a champ and now just stopped. All signals seem good.

Anything to do as far as reset or ?

Try different card, or check setting that you have to keep taking pics and erasing old pics. I use a much bigger card, 32MB.

Which SD card are you using?
Are you using a solar panel or just the battery tray?

Tactacam says the card is the issue 90% of the time.

Batteries likely drew down too much, imo. Anytime my cameras stopped updating they'd show batteries at 100%. Pull battery and charge and back in business.

Tactacam recommends a SanDisk or Tactacam 32gb u3 class 10 SD card. That would be where I’d start if not already using it.

You can try a Manuel reset but I’m not sure if that’s the problem. Which model reveal do you have?

I just bought a couple Gen 2 models. Researched ahead and called and talked to them. They said the same - use the correct spec SD card or you will have issues. Ordered a couple on amazon on 5 this morning and it was delivered by 2, never been that fast before

Thanks…now it started working again with no issues. Plan to be down in a few weeks and out a new card in.

My app stopped working the a few days ago. Looked like I had no pics. Deleted app, reinstalled, log in, pics were there.

I have the SK as well. I’m really liking this camera.

1. Are you by chance using the Verizon SIM card? I heard they were having trouble on the Verizon side this past week.

2. What has your battery level been showing prior to when the camera stopped sending pics? The solar panel that came with the SK does work but it has a hard time keeping up with high activity. It might have been possible that the rechargeable battery got too low and started working when it charged back up in time.

3. Like Chew said could have been a glitch with the app as well.

Try resetting. I try to change my SD card out every three trips or so. If the SD loop is on and the card is full it will cause the SD card to not work right over time. Use the SD card mentioned above.

I have 2 SKs that I use on the lower activity feeders as I learned last year they are not set up for high volume.

I camera I had the issue is an X with a solar panel attached. I am using Verizon. The battery level had been 100% consistently.
