Need local mechanic to supply and replace engine near Terrell TX

I live near terrell tx. My son has a 97 jeep cherokee with a 4.0 straight six that needs to be replaced. Any mechanic recommendations would be most appreciated. 972-742-9201

Since it's a '97, it's no longer subject to emissions testing for inspection. Just needs a safety inspection. You might consider doing an LS V8 swap. 5.3 would give it lots of power. And they are plentiful out there. Lots of swap adapters available too. I've even seen one done in a Mazda Miata.
