    Hot dogs anyone?

This is one of many reasons I don't eat hot dogs.

First time I saw in person how they were made, they were off the list.

Don’t bother me none, I still like hot dogs. I know what chorizo is made from too but that don’t stop me from chowing down in a good breakfast burrito or taco.

Why would the filler not be in the same facility as the stuffer in the first place, just crazy.
But I really enjoy a good dog

That’s what chili, mustard and onions are for.

Hot dogs are for kids and I don’t have a clue who chorizo is for.

If you saw what went on in most processing plants and restaurant kitchens, you'd probably never eat again.

Never tour a cattle processing plant if that bothers you.

Oh I have... the same summer I got to see all the things they throw in the emulsifier. You could dang near make hot dogs out of an old sofa.

Was also a butcher for 15 years.

I've never heard of producing the slurry (filler) at one plant and using it to produce product (hot dogs) at another. Too much chance of contamination. I'm not even sure that would be legal.
My guess is that this product was out of date or somehow contaminated and was on the way to a rendering facility. I was in the rendering industry for many years and we got tons of this type product, regularly.

Bologna, hot dogs, Spam, Vienna sausages. Bring it on. I like Long John Silvers and McRibs too. I don’t have a woman’s stomach. [emoji846]
