I cant believe this boy hasnt found a new home yet.

Yeah, he is a sweet and smart dog. Just does not need to be around chickens. He needs a home with other LGDs.

Did you talk to a dog trainer? If not… shock collars are amazing training tools.

I have a friend with goats that needs another dog. He has Pyrenees that stay with herd but needs another at house pen. Near Gainesville. I had to get rid of cur/mastiff for same reason but he killed neighbors chickens not ours. Will PM tomorrow if he wants it and I'll go get it, he's 81

I've heard old timers talk of this before.....Not sure if I could stand the smell of it though

I've seen it done to coon dogs.
Tree a possum, and that possum is going to get tied to that dog's head tight tight.
Then they would just turn the dog out.
When and if he came back, there would be no more possums in his future.

Yep my dad had a blue tick gyp that went through this punishment twice before she quit possums
