    Rabbit questions

So I open our overhead door and a jet black tiny rabbit shoots out. We catch it and box it up. My daughter the veterinarian says it’s not wild (maybe a Black Rex) or some such thing. We have 1 ton trucks in and out all day and a ton of feral cats around. Cute little dude will never make it at the shop.

    Questions:
    1. Ever seen a black wild rabbit?
    2. Anyone around Round Rock have some kids that want a pet rabbit?

He’s been eating dewberries and some spinach. Dang thing is cute as a button.

I wish you were closer. I have rabbits and a couple solid black ones. If anyone from there is heading east I will meet between Humble and Livingston

Maybe 2-3 months old. He has brown feet so she says he may not be a Rex. He is awfully cute. If I can get the dogs to behave I will consider keeping him. He was living under a dewberry tree so his feet may just be stained. He loves berries

Do you have pictures? I used to raise Rex and New Zealander rabbits. I know enough to be dangerous.

I can’t post pictures or don’t care enough to figure it out. All irrelevant anyway. After swearing off any non-dog pets I have become very taken with this little black rabbit. I now have a rabbit named dog, so technically I still do t have any “non-dog” pets. The vet says it’s a Havana Rex. But thank you for offering to help Dusty.
